Those with an out-of-state license may apply for Out-of-State Residency license by submitting an application and the following documents.
- Official Transcripts including date of conferral
- Scores from Washington State’s basic skills and content are tests or scores from equivalent out-of-state tests
- Submission of finger prints for background check
- Copy of one of the following
- state teaching certificate and proof of three years of teaching experience
- proof of completion of any state’s approved teacher preparation program through an accredited institution
