One Mission – Endless Opportunities
The mission of Martin Luther College is to train men and women to meet the public ministry needs of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
MLC Day is Wednesday, May 7!
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ. – Ephesians 1:3
On MLC Day 2025, we will celebrate the blessings God has gifted to our WELS ministries – through the pastors, teachers, and staff ministers who faithfully proclaim his Word and through the individuals and families who support this work.
With your gifts, we hope to add another $130,000 to the Congregational Partner Grant Program matching fund so that more students will receive financial assistance for their journey to the public ministry.

Once Upon a Crime: The Trial of Goldilocks
(Martin Luther College Auditorium)
Will justice be served in this hilarious fairy-tale courtroom play packed with characters we all know and love? It’s up to your audience, which serves as the jury and determines how the play ends! Goldilocks is the defendant, on trial for breaking and entering. The plaintiffs are—you guessed it—the three bears. As their lawyers Henny Penny and Tom Thumb go toe-to-toe hoping to prove their respective clients’ cases, other fairy tale characters are called to testify as witnesses, including Hansel and Gretel, Jack and Cow, and Granny. Even the Big Bad Wolf takes the stand, but can any of these witnesses be trusted themselves? Is Goldilocks guilty or innocent? With multiple endings to cover each possible outcome, YOU get to decide her ultimate fate, so don’t miss Once Upon a Crime: The Trial of Goldilocks!
Tickets are $3 for all attendees and will be sold at the door only, beginning 30 minutes before each show time.
Sign Up to Receive Our Holy Week Devotions in Your Inbox
The Foolishness of the Cross is the newest devotion book we’ve created for you. It contains a devotion for each day of Holy Week, April 13-20, written by MLC faculty.
The cross of Christ is the setting for the greatest reversal in history—an altar of humiliation transformed into the ultimate stage and revelation of the King of kings. To the world, it seems absurd that God would save through weakness, suffering, and death. Yet believers come face to face with God in all his power, providential might, and glory nowhere as clearly as at the cross.
These devotions will help us see how the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.
