State-approved teacher preparation programs from a regionally-accredited institutions outside of Iowa must undergo a program review. Applicants receive 2-year temporary licenses and must complete deficiencies as determined by IBoEE. Upon completion of those deficiencies, full licensure is granted.
In addition to the application, the following materials are required for program review.
- Transcripts
- Copy of Valid Teaching License
- Verification of tests (if required)
- Verification of experience
