Licensure in another state or country does not mean licensure in Arkansas will automatically be granted. To apply for standard license through reciprocity,
- Complete the online application
- Submit official transcripts
- Submit copy of current license in good standing
- Content area testing required
- Verification form documenting 3 years of teaching experience
- Background Check
- Arkansas history course
Request by email (address above) a reciprocity packet from ADE. (Include name and mailing address where you would like to receive the packet).
A provisional license may be issued for those needing to complete content area testing or Arkansas history course.
