The MLC Library is committed to providing access to their collections, resources, and services to all library users, including people with physical and learning disabilities.
The nearest parking lot to the library is located on the west side of the building. Enter through the Center Street entrance, follow the service road to the left, and turn right into the marked visitor’s lot. Sidewalks to the library are wheelchair accessible.
The library entrance is located at ground level on the south side of the building. Automatic door buttons are provided. There are two sets of doors, which are timed and automated to work together.
The elevator is located on the entrance level, inside and to the right of the entrance doors. It provides handicap access to the upper and lower levels of the library. Please note that the elevator is programmed not to open on the entry level when exiting the building. To use the elevator when leaving the library, please ask for assistance at the circulation desk.
Handicap-accessible restrooms are located on both levels of the library.
If you need assistance, please ask at the Circulation desk. Library staff are happy to help.
