You don’t have to be in New Ulm to be part of Homecoming!
This year, the Late Knight Show (our HOCO theme) is coming to you, and we’re inviting you to be the host. We’ve created a collection of fun, easy-to-use activities for kids in grades K–8 that you can enjoy in a classroom, at home, or anywhere you gather with the kids in your life.
Whether you’re a teacher sharing an activity with your class, a parent looking for something fun to do together, or a grandparent, aunt, uncle, or friend spending time with a young person, these activities are a chance to share a little MLC Homecoming wherever you are.

Activity Packets
We want kids to become familiar with MLC and enjoy activities related to a late-night show. You decide how much they need to know about late-night TV before getting started.
Gr K-2:
Children can create a Knight helmet to wear and pretend they’re a Knight for a Day. Then, they can draw a picture of their newly Knighted selves. Maybe one day, they will join our Newly Knighted wall of admitted students.
Gr 3-5:
We included a page of props for students to color and cut out to make their own Late Knight Show. Give them free rein to create the kind of show they want! This packet also includes MLC-related items to help kids learn more about the WELS College of Ministry.
Gr 6-8:
This packet gives older kids the creative freedom to create a commercial that could air on TV or conduct an interview with an MLC alum. A bonus crossword puzzle further introduces them to MLC.
