On April 8, 2024, Professor Emeritus Gary L. Dallmann finished his earthly race and received his crown of righteousness. Gary used his God-given athletic skills throughout his life of service. He started his public ministry in 1964 at Dr. Martin Luther College, where he enriched the lives of countless students and athletes.
Gary was a coach, a professor, the athletic director, and a mentor until his retirement in 2008. He left a permanent mark on the community and the students he cherished. Gary was a member of Lion’s Club International. He acted as a commissioner for the National Small College Athletic Association and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2017. Being an avid outdoorsman and historian led Gary to publish his book, White Fox. As a dedicated member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church of New Ulm, Gary volunteered wherever there was a need.
