- Per MLC’s DoDMoU, the cost per credit for military members is calculated using the following formula:
- Annual tuition rate (AT) times number of years to obtain a degree (4) = total cost of degree (TC)
- (TC) divided by number of credits necessary to obtain a degree (130) = calculated cost per credit (CCpC)
- Example using 21-22 AY costs: $16,910 x 4 = $67,640. $67,640 / 130 = $520.31
Scholarships
Students do not need to apply for MLC Merit Scholarships. These are awarded each year based on the GPA of each student.
MLC Scholarships are added as part of the financial aid award. Merit scholarships are in addition to any need-based aid. Other scholarships that students receive from outside sources are likewise considered financial aid.
