Custodial Cleaning Crew – Campus or ECLC (Summer 2024, Bonus Eligible)

Job Description: ECLC Custodian will clean at the interior areas of the MLC Early Childhood Learning Center weekdays (Monday – Friday) between the hours of 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Safety dress code required. Position reports to Custodial Supervisor.
Campus Cleaning Crew – Clean most interior areas on campus at least once (some areas multiple times), assist in office moves and clean up after office moves and construction under the direction of the normal supervisor. Assist other crews as directed. Safety dress code required. Position reports to Custodial Supervisor.
Employment start/stop dates: May 18, 2024 – August 25, 2024
Minimum age for employment: Individual must be 16 years of age but some tasks may require 18 years of age.
Working hours and days: Generally Monday through Friday; hours will vary. Flexible scheduling could include hours beyond the hours stated. Workers may work up to 129 hours per month, which averages to approximately 29 hours per week.
Working conditions: Lifting 40 lbs., bending, kneeling, standing, frequent mobility, use of chemicals, ladders and equipment, use of hands and arms, moderate noise level, etc.
Salary: $12.35 per hour + $2.00 bonus = $14.35 per hour

**Eligible for $2.00/hr. bonus**
This position is eligible for the summer 2024 bonus program. How this program works: As you work hours during the summer employment dates of May 18, 2024 through August 25, 2024 for this job, if hired, you will receive $2.00 per hour extra for every hour worked in the eligible job. Hours from the 1st to the 15th are paid on the last day of the month, and hours from the 16th to the last day of the month are paid on the following 15th.
This means, if a worker has 129-hours worked in a summer calendar month in this eligible position, you could earn up to an extra $258.00 each month!
