In previous years MLC student teachers have completed an assessment called “edTPA” during their Public school (6-week) experience. As of the 2025-2026 school year, MLC has opted to switch to a new assessment called Candidate Preservice Assessment of Student Teaching (CPAST), and to complete it during the 10-week Lutheran School experience.
