Kelli Green is a professor of special education at MLC. She teaches Educating the Exceptional Learner to all undergraduates and several of the undergraduate special education program courses.
Her twenty years in education have impacted the perspective from which she teaches. Kelli’s education experience includes teaching in the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod as an elementary teacher for eight years, teaching special education in the public school system for eight years gaining a wide variety of experiences from K-12 grade, learning disabilities, emotional behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorder, other health disabilities, trauma, and diversity.
Kelli is in Year 2 of doctoral work at the University of Saint Thomas in Saint Paul, MN where she is working toward an Ed.D. in Leadership and Learning and Ed.S. in Administration of Special Education.
She serves on two educational boards:
Christian Educators for Special Education (CESE)
Minnesota Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders (MNCCBD).
