Information Technology Services Student Worker (2024-2025)

Job Description: Work in IT Services! Assist and support the entire campus with their technology needs. Provide general support for the technology systems and services at MLC (including resetting passwords, answering questions, adding print credit, etc.), assist with the deployment and maintenance of desktop and mobile technology across campus, and maybe even help with server and network configuration and maintenance when needed. General labor (moving equipment, materials, etc.) and cleaning is also required. If you have an interest in programming, we may have some small projects for you. Experience with technology systems of various kinds is preferred, but an interest and passion for learning and problem-solving is required. Hours available in the evening after chapel to 10:30 pm. Position works with all members of IT Services and reports to the Director of Information Technology.

Employment dates: August 26, 2024 – May 16, 2025 (2024-2025 Academic Year)
Working hours and days: Hours are flexible. Generally 10 hours/week.
Regular or Occasional: Regular – Student Life policies state: student employees may only have one regular job and may not work more than 19 hours per week.

Minimum age for employment: Individual must be at least 16 years of age or older.

Salary: $12.35 per hour
