Information Technology Services Student Worker (Summer 2025)

Job Description: Work in IT Services! Assist and support the entire campus with their technology needs. Provide general support for the technology systems and services at MLC (including resetting passwords, answering questions, adding print credit, etc.), assist with the deployment and maintenance of desktop and mobile technology across campus, and may help with server and network configuration and maintenance when needed. General labor (moving equipment, materials, etc.) and cleaning are also required. If you have an interest in programming, we may have some small projects for you. Experience with technology of various kinds is preferred, but an interest and passion for learning and problem-solving is required. Position works with all members of IT Services and reports to the Director of Information Technology.
Employment start/stop dates: May 17, 2025 – August 24, 2025
Working hours and days: Generally Monday through Friday; hours will vary between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Flexible scheduling. Workers may work up to 129 hours per month, which averages to approximately 30 hours per week.
Minimum age for employment: Individual must be at least 16 years of age or older.
Salary: $12.63 per hour
Benefits: Summer workers (student and non-student) are not benefit-eligible. Student workers receive campus and community benefits through their status as students.
