Grounds Student Worker (2025-2026)

Description: Plant, maintain, and water plantings throughout campus.  Assist with athletic fields. Experience operating lawn mowers and small motor experience is preferred. Safety dress code required. Position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Minimum age for employment: Individual must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Employment start/stop dates: August 25, 2025 – May 15, 2026 (2025-2026 academic year)
General Hours: Monday – Friday, Schedule as mutually agreed upon (up to 19 hours per week)
Regular or Occasional: Regular – Student Life policies state: student employees may only have one regular job and may not work more than 19 hours per week.

Salary: Tier 4 – $13.13 per hour
Benefits: Student workers are not benefit-eligible, but receive campus and community benefits through their status as students.
