Student Archivist (2025-2026)

Description: Work with history in the MLC Archives. Job duties may include research, organizing files and collections, filing, contacting other organizations, identifying materials to be processed, and database entry. This position may also assist with alumni events on campus.

Employment dates: August 23, 2025 – May 15, 2026 (2025-2026 academic year)

Working hours and days: generally, Monday through Friday, 5-10 hours per week, based on student availability.

Regular or Occasional: Regular – Student Life policies state: student employees may only have one regular job and may not work more than 19 hours per week.

Minimum age for employment: Individual must be at least 18 or older.

Working conditions: Lifting 20-40 lbs., bending, kneeling, standing, frequent mobility, computer use, moderate noise level.

Benefits: Student workers are not benefit-eligible, but receive campus and community benefits through their status as students.

Salary: $12.13 per hour
