MLC’s Early Childhood Educator Series is designed to provide early childhood teachers with a comprehensive understanding of developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood, especially in the context of Lutheran ministry. The series provides a solid foundation for early childhood ministry.
The Council for Professional Recognition recently awarded MLC the prestigious CDA (Child Development Associate) Gold Standard in recognition of the education they provide early childhood teachers. The Gold Standard was given to only a handful of institutions across the country, signifying that their programs provide the highest quality instruction to prepare students for the CDA exam and their teaching careers.
Erin Smolinski is one of a growing number of preschool teachers who gained valuable training for her ministry. She recently completed the 11 short courses and then applied for and received her CDA credential.
