Pre-Seminary Program Requirements
If a student desires to take the Confessional Languages option, Latin and German should be taken in high school.
Students who have not taken the previously noted foreign language credits in high school are able to pursue a program that meets MLC’s language requirement. Most students in this situation will still be able to complete their programs in four years.
German- or Latin-option students who have taken less than two years of high school instruction in their language are not required to take a language placement test. They will be placed automatically into the Elementary I course in their option language, with opportunity to advance to Elementary II, if Elementary I proves too basic.
