Volleyball Match Officials

AVAILABLE POSITION – MIDDLE SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL MATCH OFFICIAL

Location: New Ulm Middle School, 414 S. Payne Street, New Ulm, MN 56073

Job Summary:
New Ulm Middle School is seeking an individual to officiate 7th and 8th grade girls volleyball home matches during the 2026 season. The official will be responsible for facilitating matches, applying basic volleyball rules, maintaining a positive and safe environment, and working cooperatively with coaches and school staff.

Home Match Dates and Times:

●      September 3 – 4:30 PM

●      September 15 – 5:30 PM

●      September 28 – 4:00 PM

●      October 1 – 4:30 PM

●      October 5 – 4:30 PM

●      October 6 – 4:30 PM

●      October 8 – 4:30 PM

Qualifications:

●      Knowledge of basic volleyball rules and match procedures.

●      Previous volleyball playing, coaching, officiating, or related experience preferred.

●      Ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes and coaches.

●      Must be dependable and able to arrive prior to the scheduled match time.

●      A referee license or certification is not required.

Compensation:
$30 per match. Most dates will include two matches for a total of $60.
