At their 60th reunion, the members of the Dr. Martin Luther High School Class of 1959 prayerfully resolved to establish an endowment fund. Recognizing the high cost of college, coupled with the need for more WELS called workers, the class established the fund to provide financial assistance to students who demonstrate financial need.
The class members would like to praise and thank our gracious heavenly Father for blessing them with both the financial resources and the desire to support ministerial training even after their earthly lives have ended. They would also like to encourage other classes to consider establishing similar funds.
Income from this fund will be distributed to MLC students who demonstrate financial need.
