About the Inservice
Six modules that examine the attitudes, planning, and procedures to facilitate a Christian academic environment. Provides tools to build the frameworks and phrases that set the stage for thoughtful and loving application of law and gospel.
Module Topics
Module One: Foundations
Examine fundamental assumptions and attitudes of education, (including beliefs about student, teacher, intelligence, instruction, and behavior) within the framework of a Christian classroom.
Module Two: Planning
Define and plan specific elements key to building a positive Christian environment.
Module Three: Relationships
Relate and practice methods for building relationships and communicating high expectations.
Module Four: Link to Academic Practice
Analysis of academic elements and teaching practices to support positive student engagement.
Module Five: Understanding Behaviors
Analysis of academic elements and teaching practices to support positive student engagement.
Module Six: Respond and Reintegrate
Develop measured responses to behavior leading towards application of law and gospel. Plan to reintegrate students into the classroom environment in a way that repairs relationships and strengthens the Christian climate.
