DESCRIPTION
This module presents the topic of social and cultural appropriateness, which includes understanding cultural awareness, promoting cultural diversity, and implementing strategies for culturally responsive teaching.
LEARNING OUTCOMES
- Define culture and explain how culture influences children’s development.
- Implement a strengths-based approach to promote cultural diversity and culturally responsive teaching.
- Identify three ways to promote socially and culturally appropriate early learning.
