DESCRIPTION
This module presents the topic of behavioral expectations across early childhood, which includes the understanding of expectations related to children’s attention, play, self-regulation, and independence and the application to best classroom practices.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  • Understanding developmentally appropriate expectations for children’s attention.
  • Cultivating an awareness of the development of children’s play behaviors.
  • Supporting the development of children’s self-regulation skills.
  • Facilitating the growth of children’s independence.
