Advanced Piano Recital
Advanced piano students of Dr Bethel Balge, Mrs Carlotta Ohm and Mrs Elizabeth Wiechman will perform pieces by Debussy, Ginastera, Mozart and Ravel on Thursday, May 9 at 8pm in the Music Center rm 217. All are invited.

SAMS Lecture: “Growing up in Korea and Brazil: A Musical Journey”
Summit Avenue Music Series (SAMS) artists, Soh-Hyun Park Altino (violinist) and Leonardo Altino (cellist), will speak on music education both in America and in their home countries of Korea and Brazil. This event is free and open to the public. The Altinos will perform Tangos et cetera in the season-opening SAMS concert on Sunday, September 15, at 3:00 pm. The Minnesota River Valley Wind Ensemble will perform on Sunday, November 17, at 3:00 pm in the WCC Auditorium.
