MLC Golf and Life Camp

July 7 – 10, 2024

Registration for 2024 begins March 1, 2024.

Our goal is for your kids to excel both on and off the golf course.

Yes, we will help you hit straighter drives, find more greens, and make more putts, but we will also heighten your enjoyment of the game and boost your confidence in your abilities.

We provide a fun and positive environment for our players by offering supportive words, smiles and high fives. Golf is meant to be enjoyed!

  • Monday’s theme will be Courtesy
  • Tuesday’s theme will be Perseverance
  • Wednesday’s theme will be Confidence

The lessons learned from the camp themes will be applied to golf and life through fun and engaging activities. All three principles will help our players enjoy golf more and be more successful in life in their relationships at school, home, and wherever they go.

Eligible Campers

Any boys and girls entering high school for the 2023-2024 school year.

Our program is designed to accommodate all levels; the beginning player just discovering the game, the player trying to move up on the team, and the tournament-level player looking to improve tournament results.

What Campers Should Bring

  • Golf bag/clubs
  • Golf shoes or tennis shoes
  • Proper golf attire (golf shirts and shorts, no t-shirts, no tank tops, no jeans, no gym shorts)
  • Residential campers will stay in the AC dorm rooms.
  • Campers should bring a pillow and a sleeping bag.

Rain will not cancel the camp. The camp will go on in light rain, so we advise packing light rain gear/umbrella as there is a chance of an unexpected passing summer shower. Campers will not practice or play outside if the weather turns into a heavy downpour or lightning occurs. The camp will move to the indoor golf simulators if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Camp Director

  • Matt Pearson – MLC Men’s and Women’s Head Golf Coach
    NCAA D3
Coach Pearson has hit two holes-in-one; both with pitching wedges. He regrets not saving the golf balls.
