Description
Periodically, the printers across campus need to be replaced in order to maintain support and security standards. Even as we move more and more workflows to the digital realm, keeping a reliable printer fleet is a necessity for any campus. This project aims not only to replace all of the printers across campus with newer models (continuing to use those models which are still in support), but to also bring some additional features to many of our multi-function printers through the expanded usage of a software called PaperCut.
Key Project Features
- Replace existing printers with newer models
- Change the location of some printers, consolidating to fewer locations and removing redundant devices where hey are not needed or warranted
- Utilize PaperCut to enhance secure print job release
- Utilize PaperCut to allow additional options for scanning
- Train the campus on the new features
