The Martin Luther College Wind Symphony is pleased to present Collage: Music for Winds and Percussion on Sunday, November 18, at 3:00 pm in the Wittenberg Collegiate Auditorium. This concert is a collage of works that each paint a unique timbral palette for the ears. “Fanfare” from La Péri by Paul Dukas is a brilliantly bright work for small brass ensemble. Frank Ticheli’s setting of Shenandoah is a lush rendition of the traditional American folk song. Whatsoever Things by Mark Camphouse is an expansive work based on the St. Anthony Chorale and inspired by Philippians 4:8. The concert will close with a modern setting of the medieval chant Viderunt Omnes. Please join us for these and other works!
