Wind Symphony Concert

Please join the Martin Luther College Wind Symphony for their fall concert entitled “Suite Music Among Friends” on Sunday, November 19, at 3:00 pm in the MLC Auditorium. Repertoire includes William Byrd Suite and Godzilla Eats Las Vegas! Student conductors who are music majors at MLC will conduct the Wind Symphony as part of their coursework in advanced conducting. Please join us for an afternoon of wonderful wind band music. The concert is free and open to the public.

Martin Luther College’s highly anticipated Christmas Concert will be presented Saturday, December 2, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 3, at 4:00 pm. Join us as we open the Advent season with a musical celebration of Jesus’ birth. Four choirs, Wind Symphony, and Handbell Choir will proclaim the good news of salvation in two identical concerts. Readers’ Theatre: The Six Shooter

MLC Lyceum – Tonic Sol-fa

Tonic Sol-fa began in Central Minnesota and includes lead vocalist Shaun Johnson, tenor and vocal percussionist, Greg Bannwarth, and bass, Jared Dove. Together the group reached national prominence with appearances on NBC’s Today Show and in Newsweek magazine. Along the way, they shared the stage with a number of recognizable performers including Jay Leno, Jeff Foxworthy and Lonestar, and were recently part of Garrison Keillor’s 30th Anniversary celebration of A Prairie Home Companion.
