The Martin Luther College Wind Symphony will present Foundation: A Sacred Concert for Wind Band on Sunday, February 11, at 2:00 pm in the Chapel of the Christ. Lutheran Ceili Orchestra Concert
The Lutheran Ceili Orchestra was formed at St. Marcus Lutheran Church in Milwaukee. Traditionally it assembled there for an all-Irish service every March, around St. Patrick’s Sunday, to encourage awareness of the history of the Christian faith in ancient Ireland, as well as to introduce the rich Celtic tradition of fantastic hymns and riveting music. We are delighted to have them give a concert here at MLC on the eve of St. Patrick’s Day.

Martin Luther College voice instructor, Kathy Wurster, will perform a voice recital entitled “Songs I Love by American Composers” on Saturday, March 17, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Christ. The recital includes music by Heggie, Rorem, Lauridesen, Witacre, Kerrigan & Lowdermlk and more. Bonnie Jorgensen will accompany on the piano.

Seminary Chorus Concert
The Seminary Chorus, a 43-voice choir composed of men studying for the pastoral ministry at Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, Mequon WI, will present a sacred concert at Martin Luther College Saturday, April 7, at 7:30 pm. The choir presents hymns and anthems in traditional and contemporary styles, accompanied by a variety of musical instruments, and includes congregation participation. The Chorus will appear at WELS churches in Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Colorado, Nebraska, and Alberta, Canada, on its 2018 spring tour.
