MLC Christmas Concert
Martin Luther College’s highly anticipated Christmas Concert will be performed Saturday, December 1, at 7:30 pm and Sunday, December 2, at 4:00 pm. Join us as we open the Advent season with a musical celebration of Jesus’ birth under the theme “Peace Eternal Making.” Four choirs, Wind Symphony, and Handbell Choir will proclaim the good news of salvation in two identical concerts. Wind Symphony Sacred Concert with Wisconsin Lutheran College Band
The Martin Luther College Wind Symphony, together with members of the Wisconsin Lutheran College Band, will present Whatsoever Things: A Sacred Concert for Wind Band on Sunday, February 17, at 3:00 pm in the Chapel of the Christ. Works on the program include Eternal Father, Strong to Save by Claude T. Smith; How Deep the Father’s Love for Us by Anthony LaBounty, based on a English hymn tune; Cathedrals by Kathryn Salfelder, a uniquely antiphonal work inspired by the compositions of Gabrieli; and Whatsoever Things by Mark Camphouse. Martin Luther College Choir Tour – Wisdom from Heaven The MLC College Choir looks forward to sharing God’s Word in song in the Midwest this spring.
