Student Life Department
The goal of the Student Life Department is to provide you with resources across campus that help enrich both the
student experience and campus life here at Martin Luther College.
Co-curriculars like music, drama, and athletics keep our students busy. And annual events—Homecoming and Winter Carnival, for example—are full of great activities, from ice sculpting to date auctions. Lyceums and convocations bring in speakers and entertainment groups.
Then there are the informal activities that make your college years so memorable. Meet your friends at the union to watch a game on the big screen. Add your horn to the Pep Band at a basketball game. Study at Starbooks, the library coffee lounge. Join the 400+ students who play on an intramural team. Go snowboarding in Mankato (30 minutes away) or attend a concert or play in the Twin Cities (less than a two-hour drive). And be sure to check out New Ulm: swim at the indoor pool, ice skate at the arena, hike through beautiful Flandrau State Park, play a round of disc golf, or grab a latte at a downtown coffee shop.
Let us help you develop your special gifts and discover your own path of service to your Lord and your church through life at MLC.
