Readers Theater: A Tale of Two Cities
On July 25, 1938, Orson Welles and the Mercury Theatre performed live on the radio an adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities. Welles and his cast brought the “best of times and the worst of times” to life for the radio world to enjoy. This December, you will have the chance to experience a radio show of the 30s and 40s. Martin Luther College’s Reader’s Theater will perform Orson Welles’ radio version of A Tale of Two Cities.
