Those that hold a standard certificate issued by another state may apply for a review of credentials to seek certification in Texas. Exemption from taking Texas tests is available with appropriate documentation. Out-of-state test scores are not considered without a review of credentials.
Upon review of credentials and application, a one-year non-renewable certificate may be granted. Application for a standard certificate is required upon successful completion of appropriate tests.
