This scholarship fund was established in 2017 by the Martin Luther College Alumni Association (MLCAA). The MLCAA is made up of more than 10,000 graduates and attendees of Martin Luther College, Dr. Martin Luther College, Northwestern College, and Martin Luther Academy/Dr. Martin Luther High School.
These alumni share a common bond. Well trained and prepared to share their Savior, they are committed to serving him however and wherever he chooses to use them. They continue to meet and encourage one another, and also to support and pray for the current students and ministry of MLC. The MLCAA board meets on campus annually during Homecoming weekend to provide direction, plan events, coordinate funding efforts, and devise communication plans.
Income from this fund is currently distributed in $1,000 grants to students with gifts for ministry who demonstrate financial need.
The 2022-23 recipients of the $1000 MLCAA Scholarships are Nathaniel Brown and Tristen Goff. Click on their names to learn a little more about them and how your gifts have impacted their training for ministry.
