Department: Athletics – Soccer
Description: Soccer mannequins are used to practice free kicks and for various other drills that would require some sort of defensive presence. The mannequins have stakes that can be put into the grass; they also (as an extra) have rubber bases that can be attached so they can be used on a turf space (as per our indoor Betty Kohn Fieldhouse). These would also be useful for any kind of phy ed activity that would require “dummy” defense (pun intended).
Cost: $700 – FUNDED honoring Coach Paul Koelpin for 27 years of of service as soccer coach.
