Description:
Several of my student workers have expressed an interest in model rocketry and I thought it could be a fun and interesting team-building activity. We would divide the A/V workers into groups of two or three to assemble their rockets and then have a launch party. Depending on how the event goes, we would look at expanding and extending invitations to the rest of the campus in the future. The estimated cost of model rockets and other supplies for the event is $300.
