financial-literacyDepartment: Financial Aid

Description: These funds will help encourage students to become actively engaged in financial literacy opportunities on campus. This is the second year of our financial literacy program, but it currently has no program funding. Our goal as a program is to help students develop stronger personal financial strategies, which will better equip them for their future lives of service for God’s kingdom. Financial understanding will help individuals make smarter decisions for themselves and their families, and it will also help future pastors and teachers involved with school/church budgets to make sound decisions for the good of the synod. I am requesting $1000 for grant opportunities for students who complete their online financial literacy assignments or attend one of the financial literacy group sessions on campus.

Cost: $ 1,000
