The WELS Commission on Lutheran Schools has developed a set of WELS Teaching Standards as a framework to guide educators in faithful service. New teachers and mentors use the teaching standards to set goals that impact ministry. WELS NTI seminars and webinars support this work.

Teaching That Works Series – 1 CE Credit each

Intended Audience: Teachers interested in improving teaching practices by reviewing theory, watching it modeled, and implementing it in their own classroom, and reflect on its results.

Following the Teaching that Works model, the courses are job-embedded, collaborative, reflective, and practical.

NTI offers its schools/ new teachers a reduced rate for each course.
