Important news for Graduate Studies. Please read them.
All graduate students will need to be enrolled in a course to maintain active status. A new course, EDU6999 Continued Graduate Studies, has been created for students who otherwise do not plan to take a course. This policy change enables MLC to more accurately serve graduate students and track their progress.
On May 16, 10 graduate students will be recognized for earning their Master of Science in Education degrees. As they walk the stage to receive their diplomas, they will be an example of faithful service for those receiving their bachelor's degrees and an inspiration for all current master's degree students. The 2014-2016 Graduate Studies Bulletin is now available. Some of the updates include the addition of several new graduate courses and graduate faculty. Program plans have also been revised with the addition of the new mentoring courses. Please take this opportunity to read through it, and let us know if you have any questions!
MLC developed the educational technology emphasis to support teachers' ongoing efforts to integrate technology in the school curriculum. This emphasis is specially designed to assist WELS technology coordinators and classroom teachers to become technology leaders in their schools.
Beginning this fall, graduate students will note a new course number prefix – SPE. The prefix change reflects the growing attention to special education at Martin Luther College. New courses are being created and offered in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, prompting the need for new course numbers. The following new and existing graduate courses are affected:
