DESCRIPTION:On Thursday\, April 26th\, Dr. David Dies will present at Martin Luther College at 7:45 p.m. in the WCC Auditorium. Dr. Dies is a professor of music and composer at St. John’s University. He will be presenting on the commissioning\, writing\, and performance process of his oboe concerto\, premiering April 23rd in Florida. MLC Aulic is proud to bring this world-class composer to our campus. Don’t miss this opportunity! \nDr. Dies will also be presenting a master class on composition at 4:00 pm in the Music Center\, room 123. Students are invited to attend and encouraged to bring their own compositions. \n
