SUMMARY:Wind Symphony Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Martin Luther College Wind Symphony presents “Be Still\, My Soul: A Sacred Concert for Wind Band” on Sunday\, February 16\, at 3:00 pm in Chapel of the Christ. Works on the program will feature several familiar hymn tunes\, including “Be Thou My Vision\,” setting by David Gillingham; Dies Natalis by Howard Hanson\, based on the chorale tune WIE SCHÖN LEUCHTET; and Foundation by Mark Camphouse\, featuring “How Firm a Foundation” and the concert namesake\, “Be Still\, My Soul.” The concert will also feature the combined strength of the MLC Chorale\, Mannerchör\, and Women’s Choir on Dan Forrest’s In Paradisum.
