DESCRIPTION:More Than the Score is an exciting new offering on the MLC campus. Join us on home football game days as we hear from MLC professors on various topics. \nEvolution & Christianity (September 21) Darwin’s Theory of Evolution revolutionized the life sciences\, sparking significant scientific and theological discussions. From its inception\, Christians have objected to the theory’s contradictions with God’s miracle of creation. However\, as research in the life sciences\, particularly in genetics\, has progressed\, even secular scientists recognize that Darwin’s original theory is inadequate to fully explain the complexity of life. This presentation uses the Christian perspective to examine the profound changes scientific discoveries made to the Theory of Evolution over the past 50 years. Presenter: Prof. Dan Fenske \n
