. . . you travel 2,000 miles to tell little kids Jesus is their hero.

“I loved my Daylight trip to California,” says Cassandra Doering (Lakeside LHS / St. Paul-Lake Mills WI), who’s pictured giving a devotion on how Jesus is our hero.

“I got to be a part of a great VBS, and on top of that I made friendships that will last a lifetime!” The Daylight USA program offers students the opportunity to travel to churches across the country to canvass, run VBS programs, and help with other outreach programs like soccer or STEM camps. Besides being rewarding and exciting, Daylight trips also bless students with great ministry experience.

. . . you play your guitar for Jesus.

Jonah Backus and the Conquerors played for morning chapel this semester. They are the newest of many vocal and instrumental ensembles who use their musical gifts to beautify MLC worship.

“The staff at MLC has been so supportive,” says Jonah Backus (New London HS / Emanuel-New London WI, pictured second from right). “We loved having the opportunity to use our gifts to benefit God’s kingdom.”
