How do I get started with a tutor?

1. Talk to your professor or advisor and let them know that you are interested in being tutored for their class.
2. Contact the ASC Director, Mr. Randy Cox at coxra@mlc-wels.edu. Provide your name, the course name, instructor and a little information about yourself and what you need. He will make the necessary contacts to connect you with just the right tutor.

Writing Tutors

Writing tutors are available in the Academic Success Center five nights a week. If you need help getting started, or have some structural issues, the writing tutors are there to help. They won't proof-read your paper but will make suggestions for improvement. No appointment is necessary.
