ST. BONIFACIUS, Minn. - The MLC volleyball team won for the fourth time in five matches with a 3-1 win at Crown Thursday night.

Renee Peters had 15 digs in MLC's win at Crown

MLC won the match by the scores of 25-8, 25-19, 29-31, 25-20.

MLC hit .241 for the match, which was helped by a terrific start when the Knights hit .542. The Knights also finished with 13 blocks for the match.

Rebecca Engelbrecht finished with a team high 15 kills, and also added six blocks, while Jaime Eternick had 11 kills and 11 digs. Renee Peters led the Knights with 15 digs, while Mackenzie Krentz led the team with 43 assists.

With the win, MLC improved to 13-9 overall and 5-3 in the UMAC, while Crown dropped to 3-18 on the season and 0-8 in the conference.

MLC will return to action tomorrow (Friday, October 15) when it travels to Northwestern for a triangular. The Knights will play Northwestern at 4 p.m., and Bethel at 6 p.m.
