Volleyball Sweeps Saints
ABERDEEN, S.D. – The MLC volleyball team won its match at Presentation in three sets Friday night by the scores of 25-12, 25-13 and 25-22.

The Knights took control of each of the first two sets early before cruising to winning them, and then came from behind to erase a 22-19 deficit by scoring the game’s final six points to finish the sweep.
Rebecca Engelbrecht led the Knights with nine kills, hitting .304 for the match. Rachel Hein added eight kills, while Emily Boldt and Katelyn Hauf each had five.
MLC hit .261 as a team in the match, and held Presentation to an attack percentage of .074.
With the win, MLC improved to 10-10 on the season and 4-2 in the UMAC ,while Presentation dropped to 2-18 overall and 1-5 in league play.
MLC will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, October 8) with a match at Minn.-Morris scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
