Volleyball Splits at Bethel
ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The MLC volleyball team split a pair of games at a tournament hosted by Bethel University, beating Buena Vista in five games before losing to Bethel in three.
The Knights lost the first game against Buena Vista, but came back to beat them by the scores of 19-25, 25-21, 25-18, 24-26 and 15-10.
Against Bethel, the Knights lost in three by the scores of 25-19, 25-19 and 25-16.
Rachel Hein and Emily Boldt each had a team-best eight kills, and also added two blocks apiece. Kayla Schoeneck led the team with nine kills, while Miranda Maasz had 25 assists.
MLC moved to 4-3 on the season with the split, and will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, September 10), when it plays UW-River Falls at Bethel in a match scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
