Volleyball Picked Fourth in Preseason
ST. PAUL, Minn. - The MLC volleyball team was picked fourth in the UMAC preseason poll by the coaches around the conference.
MLC narrowly edged out Northland and Bethany, finishing with 26 total points, compared to 25 for Northland and 24 for Bethany.
The Knights finished last season 7-7 in the conference and in fifth place, just missing out on the conference tournament.
St. Scholastica beat out Northwestern by just one point at the top of the poll, receiving 46 total points and four first place votes, while Northwestern received 45 points and three first place votes. Minnesota, Morris came in third with 38 points and one first place vote.
