Rebecca Engelbrecht Named UMAC Offensive Player of the Week
ST. PAUL – MLC volleyball player Rebecca Engelbrecht was named UMAC Offensive Player of the Week for her play last weekend at the Bethel University Volleyball Invitational, where she helped MLC to a 2-2 record.

Engelbrecht averaged 4.14 kills per game with an attack percentage of .241 in the four matches, leading the team in kills each match. She stepped up her game in the Knights’ two wins on Saturday over Central and Carleton, averaging 4.57 kills per game and hitting .329, and was named to the all-tournament team for her efforts.
The volleyball team will travel to UW-Oshkosh this weekend for its last non-conference tournament of the season before starting conference play on Friday, September 21, against Minnesota, Morris.
