Women Finish 5th at UMAC Championships
SUPERIOR, Wis. - The MLC women's track and field team finished fifth at the UMAC Track & Field championships Saturday hosted by St. Scholastica.
The Knights finished with 27 total points on the day. St. Scholastica finished first at the meet with 296 total points.
Nicole Lehman (La Crosse, Wis./Luther) was the highest finisher on the day for the Knights, winning the Javelin Throw event with a throw of 31.23 meters. She also scored points for the Knights with a seventh place finish in the Triple Jump.
Rachel Hein (West Bend, Wis./LPS) scored points for the Knights in three events, with a third place finish in the 100 Meter Hurdles, and sixth place finishes in the 400 Meter Hurdles and Javelin Throw.
Alyssa Meyers (Oshkosh, Wis./WLA) also pointed in multiple events, finishing sixth in the Discus Throw and Shot Put.
Laura Dietrich and Jennifer Draeger (Marshall, Wis./Lakeside) also scored points for the Knights in individual competition in the 100 Meter Hurdles and 200 Meter Dash, respectively.
