MLC Women Run at Lee Krough Invitational
ST. PETER, Minn. - The MLC women's track team didn't send a large contingent to the Lee Krough invitational at Gustavus Saturday afternoon, but they had several good performances at the meet, including a new school record.
Nicole Lehman had the highest finish of any performer on the day, finishing sixth in the javelin throw. Lehman's throw of 33.48 meters set a new school record in the event.
Rachel Hein also performed in the event, finishing 16th.
Jennifer Draeger finished the day with two top 20 finishes, taking 18th in the 200 meter dash and 19th in the 400 meter dash.
Alyssa Myers also had a solid finish, taking 14th in the shot put.
MLC will return to the track next Saturday (April 17), when they travel to the UM-Morris. The meet is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.
